We’re Ellis and Gina — both Registered Veterinary Nurses, local to Stockton Heath, and customers of Pets Pantry for years.
In March 2024, we became the new owners of this much-loved independent pet shop - a place that’s meant a lot to us over the years. Taking it on has been a real privilege, and we’re proud to be continuing its story with the same heart, values, and strong community feel it’s always had.
With years of hands-on clinical experience, we understand how much pets mean to the people who care for them. We’re here to offer honest, knowledgeable support — and we’re lucky to have an incredible team alongside us who share that same passion.

Pets Pantry Roots
Pets Pantry has been part of Stockton Heath since 1980 — growing from a small corner shop into a two-storey high street staple, complete with a busy warehouse at the back, home to our ever-growing Click & Collect service.
Over the years, it’s become more than just a place to shop for pet supplies. It’s been a place to stop for a chat, share advice, and feel part of a like-minded community of animal lovers. That spirit is what’s made Pets Pantry special — and we’re proud to continue it.
Many of the things our customers love today were introduced by the previous owners — from our weighed-up products to the zero-waste refill system, which we’re told was one of the first of its kind in a UK pet shop! We’re grateful for the strong foundations they laid and excited to build on them with an approach that’s both community-driven and eco-conscious, while continuing to offer fantastic quality products that reflect our values.
TREK 'N' TRAIN
Created in 2020, TREK ‘N’ TRAIN was founded with one clear aim — to support dogs and their people through kind, practical, reward-based training.
As Registered Veterinary Nurses with a background in rescue, behaviour, and clinical practice, we’ve seen first-hand how early experiences, everyday interactions, and the right guidance can shape a dog’s life. TREK ‘N’ TRAIN was built with that in mind.
From group classes and one-to-ones to tailored support for more complex behaviours, everything we do is rooted in welfare, science, and compassion. It’s not just about obedience — it’s about connection, confidence, and helping dogs live well in the world around them.
Together with Pets Pantry, it’s how we continue our mission to improve the lives of animals and their people — every single day.
