Johnston and Jeff seed mixes are cleaned to a very high standard right through from entry process to the bagging off point. These processes begin by getting rid of large impurities, stage 1 deals with polishing the seeds which breaks up any poor quality seed that then gets removed any fruit mixes are added just before packing. So you can be assured of a clean dust free mix containing good quality ingredients.

Johnston and Jeff Fruity Parrot food contains Medium Striped and White Sunflower, Safflower, Whole Maize, Clipped Oats, Pumpkin Seed, Flaked Peas, Puffed Maize, Papaya, Banana, Currants, Pinapple, Apricot, Brazil Nuts, Chillies, Rosehips, and Carrot.

This Parrot mix is designed to be the best Parrot mix there is, creating Richness in Nutrition, Palatability and Interest for your Parrot.  Containing 5 different  Fruits, 5 different types of Nuts, that are all tested  to human consumption grade. Along side this are vegetables and Seed which complete the 22 different ingredients with over 50% fruit, Nuts and Veg.

Ideal for Macaws, African Greys, Amazons, Electus, Cockatoo, Large Hookbills and most parrot types except Galahs.

Johnston & Jeff test all their peanuts and nuts in shells for aflatoxin before they enter the factory, so we are as sure as we possibly can be that they are entirely safe for birds to consume. We understand that naturally, despite the benefits of feeding Monkey Nuts and even with our stringent precautions in place, not everyone will want to feed them. We recognise it is a personal choice and for that reason the Monkey Nuts have been replaced with jumbo peanuts (with same nutritonal value as monkey nuts) in our parrot mixes
