The Tough BPA free plastic for Slow feeder and Lick Paw Pad is made with soft food grade TPE rubber, free from PVC, latex, metals, and phthalates.

How to train your Dog to use a Lick Mat

1. Prepare Lick Mat with favourite wet food, Dog safe Peanut Butter, Liver paste or other favourites.

2. Spread a small circle of treat in centre

3. Get on the floor with your Dog and the Lick Mat - don't be too pushy, but encourage casually if needed.

4. If you Dog starts to chew as with any toy or treat, introduce another toy and distract, then remove the Lick Mat.

5.Use this Trade Off technique anytime your dog starts to chew a toy, not intended for that purpose. 

6.Try again in 15 mins and repeat.

7. When your Dog learns to Lick instead of Chew you can load the Lick Mat with more treat.

8. When all the Lick Mat has been eaten remove and wash ready for next time.

9. There you go, you now have a great enrichment toy that can help when you dog is stressed, anxious or just for fun.
